🚨 Don’t buy Samsung phones! 🚨
I’m saying this after my own frustrating experience. Don't buy Samsung phones, especially their high end models!
After Samsung’s latest software update, my phone suddenly developed another white line on the display.
This the 3rd time this happened. The first time was in September 2024, when they offered me a free display replacement. However, after the July 2025 security patch update, I again got a white line on my display.
When I raised a request for a free display replacement this time, the CEO office at Samsung refused it and asked me to pay around ₹10,500 instead. However, right when I installed the next update of September 2025, I got another white line on my display.
Let’s be honest — this issue started after Samsung’s own update, not because of any physical damage. That clearly means it’s a software or manufacturing defect. Even if I paid for a new display, the same thing would have happened again, as it has, after the latest update I installed causing a further damage to the display. So why should customers bear the cost of something the company itself caused?
This is a very cheap technique of minting money as a brand by forcing customers to either buy new phones or spend thousands for repairs & replacements of expensive parts like displays.
💬 What’s shocking is that other brands are stepping up!
OnePlus recently announced a lifetime free display replacement for devices facing similar “green/white line” issues after updates — taking responsibility and thereby earning customer trust. (source: Indian Express)
So why can’t Samsung do the same?
Why are loyal customers being charged thousands for a problem triggered by Samsung’s own software?
Samsung Electronics is known for innovation — but innovation means nothing without accountability.
It’s high time Samsung acknowledges this widespread defect and offers free display replacements to all affected users.
📢 Customers deserve transparency, fairness, and respect — not expensive repairs for company-caused issues.

Yesterday i went to samsung service center they told me to resolve the white lines issue it will cost 11k and as you have mentioned for out of warranty products charges are applied right this is ok for me but the white lines issue came after updating to the latest version 7.0 on September 1st 2025 the white issue came after updating to new version so this issue completely comes under samsung and samsung should have to fix this at free of cost as a mobile owner i dont scratch my mobile right the fault is in software version and in samsung center service team asked me to provide invoice details do i need to keep the invoice safely in locker for years to provide you when you ask as a customer we trust samsung but you people are not at all responsible for this issue if you have update has gone multiple tests they why this white lines issue came i have already spent 34k to buy this mobile now again 11k to replace the screen what is point of buying samsung mobiles even one plus and apple are really better i think
