I'm having trouble using the flashlight during video calls on Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp on my Samsung S23. When I try to turn on the flashlight, it says "light is being used; can't turn on." Does anyone know how to fix this?

I understand you're having trouble using the flashlight during video calls on your Samsung Galaxy S23 with apps like Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp. It's a common issue, and the "light is being used; can't turn on" message usually indicates that the camera is already using the flashlight hardware in some way.

Here are a few things you can try to fix this:

Check App Permissions:

Go to Settings > Apps.

Find the app you're using for the video call (Instagram, Telegram, or WhatsApp).

Tap "Permissions."

Make sure the app has permission to access the camera.

Sometimes, toggling the camera permission off and on again can help.

Close Other Apps Using the Camera: Make sure no other apps are using the camera in the background. Close any apps that might be using the camera, such as the Camera app itself, other video calling apps, or apps that use the camera for scanning or augmented reality.

Restart Your Phone: A simple restart can often resolve temporary software conflicts.

Clear App Cache:

Go to Settings > Apps.

Find the app you're using for the video call.

Tap "Storage."

Tap "Clear cache." (Don't clear data unless you want to reset the app settings.)

Check for App Updates: Make sure all your apps are up to date. Outdated apps can sometimes have compatibility issues.

Check Phone Software Update: Make sure your phone’s software is also up to date.

If none of these steps work, it's possible there may be a hardware or software limitation that prevents you from using the flashlight during video calls on these specific apps. I would then recommend contacting the app developers themselves.

Please let me know if any of these steps help resolve the issue.
