Iused to get 5G on Jio at my location since the first day I had the device with a good stable connection.

Recently, Iwent for a trip to Kerala where I got 5G only on the 1st day of the trip. Post that, I didn'tget a stable 5G & most of the trip was spend on 4G or WiFi! I took it as due to any network issues ( as most of my friends had similar issues on iPhone/OP ) &kept on 4G for the network to prevent unnecessary battery drain (well its S21 FE Exynos we are talking about 😅)

Ireturned last week & from then I haven't been able to connect to 5G.I have also installed the latest August update & Google Play updates too!

I have tinkered with most of the settings & even installed NetMonster to check for coverages, but it shows LTE only

Can anyone help me out?

PS --> On access points, I am getting only Jio 4G ( & as far I can remember, I had 2 access points, JioNet being the other one! I saved another APN as JioNet, still I haven't received 5G )

I have also forgotten some USSD Codes that I used to check 4G coverage & band selection during the nascent phases of 4G deployement

Edit --> Thanks to advice of a fellow member, Iinterchanged the sim slots & received 5G!

( however, when I again kept it in Sim 1 I couldn't get 5G ! I'm having an important test in coming weeks, will keep Jio on 2nd slot & will investigate properly the differences later ! Thanks )

Edit 2 --> Interestingly, when WiFi Calling is toggled on, Jio Slot completely vanishes! **bleep** classic Samsung Move, update breaks one, u find a solution only to find another broken thing 🤣

My dear reset network setting of both Sim one by one and than reset all settings of your's device in general management settings. Before this procedure please remove both Sim from Sim slots and without any Sim in slots restart your's device one time. After all this, open wify always, one time flight ✈️ mode open than close. Also update your's device software and also update jio 5G network service in jio app's software update .Thanks.

Have you tried to open MyJio app and see if your umber is indicated as "Jio True 5G" ? If not then check below snap option to see if your network is Jio 5G enabled.1694182930360_1694182930350_0.jpgScreenshot_20230908_195340_MyJio.jpg

Go for manual network selection and see if you see Jio 4G or Jio 5G?
