Samsung don't care about s24 ultra in our region. It has been out for weeks in rest of world. No point in having it a week before the September update.

I think they do. Remember, every major OEM with scale does staged rollouts. This helps with quality control and resource management. There are also possibly regulatory requirements to fulfil, etc. Be patient.

Being patient does not secure phones from vulnerabilities, but on time updates, addressing vulnerabilities do.

True, but what can one do in the mean time? Being impatient won't force an update. I suggest you take some steps to stay safe as you're security conscious.

For instance, you can subscribe to a protection service. I use one myself on my phone and I have a 1 year security subscription, for all my devices. It's the same on my PC.

Also, you can read about emerging vulnerabilities online, such as on CISA's website [ https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog] [filter Vendor/Project for "Android"], etc, and try to take whatever remedial actions you can, until security patches are released.

Finally, always follow general good security practices. With these, you should be OK. All the best.
