Galaxy SHello, Welcome to the Community. We know how frustrating it is to experience issue with contacts . We sincerely regret the inconvenience you've experienced. Please try below steps :
Navigate to Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account > Security > Your devices > sign out all the unused devices
Navigate to Settings > Google > Settings for Google apps > Google Contacts sync > turn off ‘Automatically back up & sync device contacts’ function
Recover the contact lists already deleted within 15 days or 30 days
1. Google website: If you deleted a contact in the last 30 days, you can move it out of your Trash
Access Contact Google on PC internet > At the top right, click Settings and then Undo changes > Choose a time to go back to > Click Confirm.
Access Contact Google on PC internet > At the left, click Trash > At the top, click Recover
2. Samsung device: If there are some contact lists in the Trash deleted within the last 15 days, you can restore those
Navigate to ‘Contacts’ app > More(navigation menu) > Trash > Edit > select contact lists > click ‘Restore all’
Show All contacts or Google Account contacts on the device
Navigate to ‘Contacts’ app > Navigation menu > tab ‘All contacts’ or one of Google Accounts
In case of using the same Google Account on multiple devices
In case of using the same Google Account on multiple devices (A, B) or turning on the ‘Automatically back up & sync device contacts’ function, there may be shown as some of the contacts may be deleted.
You need to turn off the ‘Automatically back up & sync device contacts’ function, it may be shown as some of the contacts are deleted.
