I bought an S21 the other day. I cannot connect to my car. It says "the connected usb device isn't supported". I tried deleting a couple cache files that people say were causing the problem but no luck. I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with my car's connectivity as my old phone works fine. Should I take the phone back and exchange it?

I have an app that I have to use for work that requires a usb connection to a Sync 3 system in a Ford Delivery van. I also use it in my car which is also a Ford.

-I deleted my previous comment because in retrospect I thought it was snarky

Try enabling USB debugging in developer settings on your mobile.
