Japanese variant, update has to be released from the operator AU ..it will be late and security updates will be on quarterly basis unlike samsung , which releases monthly security update..I too have Samsung galaxy S20 Japan variant..Still on August security patch

May be , s20+ users are mostly affected by green line issue...S20 ultra a little...only s20 is not affected, thats why i bought s20 variant instead of plus variant....Better not to update further because we still don't know the cause for green line on display
