Camera on s24 ultra is failing with warning camera failed error. This happened after thr September update.have sent error reports to support but no resolution yet...feeling let down by Samsung. Was not expecting this in a high end handset. Purchased this device just 2 weeks back.

Sending error reports is not the solution as this is not a bug. Visit service center.

It’s frustrating to face issues like a "Camera failed" error, especially on a high-end device like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, particularly after a recent update. Since you've already reported the issue to Samsung support, here are a few additional steps you can try in the meantime:

1. Clear Camera Cache and Data

Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage, and clear both the cache and data. This won't delete your photos, but it might resolve any glitches caused by the update.

2. Restart the Phone

Try restarting the phone or performing a soft reset by holding down the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

3. Boot into Safe Mode

Boot the device into Safe Mode (turn off the phone, then press and hold the volume down button while turning it on). If the camera works in Safe Mode, a third-party app might be causing the issue.

4. Check for Additional Updates

Samsung often releases follow-up patches after major updates. Check if a new update is available by going to Settings > Software update.

5. Factory Reset (last resort)

If the issue persists and no updates resolve it, performing a factory reset might help, but make sure to back up all your data first. This can clear any lingering software bugs.

Since it's a new device and the issue came after a recent update, Samsung may release a fix soon. If nothing works, you might want to consider requesting a replacement or escalation through Samsung customer support.

If you need help with any of these steps or want to know more about service or replacement options, let me know!
