Galaxy SAll you get is some visual changes and mere security enhancements at the cost of battery drain and heating. Dont know what they tested for 6 months in beta. Phone still functions the same. I'll say, wait for couple more months and see if things change.
They say one ui 8 fixes all the problems. Yet, it is samsung we are talking about.

Galaxy SSo, if anyone has concerns regarding battery performance and unusual device heating, kindly don't update for at least 3–5 months until positive user experiences are reported.

To share the log file: Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.
Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.
