I've been using Samsung phones since the Galaxy S2 series. Samsung has evolved so much in this time span. Right now, I'm using the S23 Ultra, and I love this device. I've been using it without any issues for the past 17 months. However, after the latest AI update, I've noticed some issues for the first time. The camera zoom between 10-19x seems poor, which I believe is a common problem. But I'm also facing another strange issue—a green tint issue. I'm experiencing this green tint issue at low or zero brightness. I think this is a software glitch. Samsung, I hope you will fix these issues in upcoming updates. Is anyone else facing this?

Visit service center asap. Green tint issue is not a software issue. It might be caused by software, but actually it's rectifiable by changing the screen. That's the only option.

In my country, getting an original display is rare. Here, if anyone faces display issues, they sell their devices. 😔 I don't want to lose mine. In another post similar to mine, Samsung said to reset the device. Let me do that first. Nowadays, these updates are getting weirder. They create more issues than they fix.

You may try that. I pray and hope that it resolves your issue. But its getting common nowadays with every phone company, be it Chinese or Koreans or US brands. Green screen is getting to be the new normal with updates. Very weird.

I reset my device; it did improve but not much. They want us to change our device every year. Gone are those days where we were able to use a phone for 4 to 5 years. In today's era, technology becomes outdated within one year. For this particular green line, green tint issue, so many people are afraid to update their device. An update is supposed to enhance the user experience, not degrade it.

You are correct. I have already been a victim for two times, once with S20 plus and other one was Note9. The update bricked the devices and I had to write to Samsung to get S20 plus screen replaced for no cost as it was quite escalated. Note 9 still not repaired.

Samsung is intentionally doing this. Downgrading camera quality n overall performance
Some users are even facing heating & battery backup issues. They want to improve sales of new S24 series phones
Samsung will never provide any software update in future to fix this

It's truly disheartening for those of us who intend to use our devices for at least three to four years. This strategy of theirs is not advantageous for us. Not everyone can afford to change their devices annually.

However, Samsung has found an issue where camera images may be affected at specific zoom levels when using the 'Maximum' option in Intelligent Optimization.

A software patch is being developed to address this issue, so it's important to keep your device's software updated. As a temporary solution, you can adjust the quality optimization setting to 'Medium' or 'Minimum' within the Intelligent Optimization section of the Camera settings.

Furthermore, Kindly perform the following steps to resolve your green tint issue.

Dear Samsung,

I've restarted and reset my device. The green tint issue is less noticeable, but it's still there. I can assure you that I haven't dropped or bumped my device once. I use my device very cautiously. Please provide an update to fix this issue for us.
