Last week After updating my S23 software to one ui 7, the display started to appear streaky. I contacted customer support several times and was told to show it to the next customer care and insert the job card. They showed it to me and confirmed that there was no physical damage to the phone and that the line was down due to the update.
However, Samsung's stance is that the display will not be replaced because the warranty has expired.
Isn't this cheating the customer by promising four years of updates and then making them buy the phone at a high price?
The phone is not damaged by the update while it is under warranty, but after a year, they make the phone damaged through the update they provide. This is cheating.
If they don't replace the line display on my S23, I'll take legal action and take action through social media.
