This issue only exists on S23 Ultra. It is problematic between 16x and 19x. @SamsungMobile needs to release updates urgently.

Nah it doesn't fix anything. I've tried everything I could. It's a bug in the software.

It's working after I turned off scene optimiser in Intelligent optimization by selecting medium or minimum. Only on maximum this bug occurs.

Samsung customer care responded to me saying it is not an issue.

Dear Mr. Thapa,

Basis your query regarding the Zoom issue, kindly be informed that this is not an issue & it is as per Camera design.

There are 3 different lenses for Ultra-wide, Wide, and Tele camera and all the lenses are physically located in different positions.

There is also a difference in view angle, which is similar to the human eye.

Thus, changing the zoom ratio leads to a camera lens shift which in turn causes a little change in view angle.

Also, when changing the zoom ratio quickly, the preview screen may appear slightly disconnected as it takes time to switch between the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses.

Move the zoom slowly, the screen transition becomes smoother.

If the issue is still unresolved, kindly share the device log file within 15 minutes of the issue occurrence by using the error report option via the Samsung Member application.

Dude stop this nonsense okay. I tested it on both the S23U with old and new software builds. So don't tell me all this. I know how devices work, both software and hardware wise. And you're talking to whom? Those 10th pass service customer guys. They don't even know the basics of a mobile phone and how it works so please. This issue already tested by many users on reddit or twitter with old/new builds.
