Option to Disable/Enable Camera Post-Processing on Galaxy Devices

Hello Samsung Members,

I’m facing an issue with the camera on my Galaxy S25. The live preview looks much clearer and sharper than the final saved image. After capturing, the photo goes through post-processing (noise reduction, HDR blending, sharpening, optimization, etc.), which often makes the result look softer or less natural.

This happens not only in the normal Camera app, but also in Pro and Expert RAW modes. Even when shooting in RAW, the embedded JPEG preview suffers from the same issue.

👉 My suggestion:
Samsung should add a toggle/option in Camera and Expert RAW settings that allows users to enable or disable post-processing/optimization.

Casual users can leave post-processing ON for enhanced photos.

Advanced users and professionals can turn it OFF to get the true quality of the preview and handle editing themselves.

In fact, it would be amazing if Samsung made this approach more general — giving us the ability to enable/disable certain features or services based on our needs, instead of enforcing them by default.

This flexibility would make the Galaxy camera system far more powerful and user-friendly, while keeping everyone satisfied.

🔹 Has anyone else noticed this difference between preview and saved photo quality?
🔹 Do you think an option to control post-processing would improve the experience for advanced users?

Let’s raise this together so Samsung can consider it for a future update.

Thanks,
Anbarasu
