I have been using my S23 for two years and was happy with it. After the February 2025 security update (One UI 6.1, Android 14, Version: S911BXXU8CYB4) a slight pink line appeared and within a few days it turned into a bright green line which is very frustrating.
I visited the Samsung service center but they said the S23 series is not eligible for free display replacements and rejected my request. This is a software related issue caused by Samsung yet, now I have to pay for the display repair.
I spoke to a senior team member and they said the job sheet created by the service center does not mention that the issue is caused by a software update. They also said the S23 series is not covered under the free replacement policy.
If Samsung acknowledged this issue for S21 and S22 models how can they deny that S23 models are affected by the same update.
I urge all S23 users facing this issue to raise their voices. Report this in the Samsung community or send an email to support.india@samsung.com to notify higher officials about this serious issue affecting many users

Yes, I have mailed to the Samsung support. As per the policies they haven't included S23 devices, so they deniying the free replacement. But yeah will keep fighting for this.

Same thing happened with me. They are denying the request. I am currently talking to them over email. Hope they will approve my request.

Sad to hear that a lot of people are affected. It's pretty frustrating that they are deniying the issue which is exactly the same which has happened for S21 and S22 series. Please keep mailing and ask them to raise a this issue to higher level. They will also provide you a reference number once they do so.
