Galaxy SLast week, I received a warning on my phone stating that My phone is having some software issues and I should contact Samsung support. Before I could take any action, my phone switched off and wouldn't turn back on. When I visited the service center, they informed me that they have rebooted the software, but it still didn't solve. They told me my motherboard has been damaged due to the software issue, and I would need to pay 42k for the repair. My phone is out of warranty. Several of my friends who own Samsung flagship phones have experienced similar issues in last couple of months. It seems that the new software update is causing motherboard damage. I requested compensation, but Samsung is not accepting responsibility. After spending over 1L on a flagship phone, I don't expect this level of service. If it had been my fault, I would acknowledge it, but my phone has never been dropped or exposed to water, which could have caused the damage. Please guide me on what to do.

Galaxy Spost on twitter with proper explanation and tag Samsung and Samsung India.
After wait for sometime, you will be asked to share your contact info in message after that one of the member will directly coordinate with you.
He will ask you to submit your smartphone to service center and they can't refuse.if they refuse directly call that authorised person. service center will dignose your smartphone and send the report to Samsung directly. After your phone's motherboard(PCB) would be replaced free of cost.
It may take around 15 days

Galaxy SI have been in talks with them from past one week, but they are just mentioning that they are following Samsung guidelines and I cannot get the replacement.
Its very frustrating to pay such hefty amount to buy a flagship phone and then get the motherboard damaged due to their faulty software update.
