Galaxy SLast week, I received a warning on my phone stating that My phone is having some software issues and I should contact Samsung support. Before I could take any action, my phone switched off and wouldn't turn back on. When I visited the service center, they informed me that they have rebooted the software, but it still didn't solve. They told me my motherboard has been damaged due to the software issue, and I would need to pay 42k for the repair. My phone is out of warranty. Several of my friends who own Samsung flagship phones have experienced similar issues in last couple of months. It seems that the new software update is causing motherboard damage. I requested compensation, but Samsung is not accepting responsibility. After spending over 1L on a flagship phone, I don't expect this level of service. If it had been my fault, I would acknowledge it, but my phone has never been dropped or exposed to water, which could have caused the damage. Please guide me on what to do.
