The photos shot (or the live feed) from the 10x Super Telephoto Camera are always Blurry & out of focus no matter how many times the screen is manually tapped to focus. The zoom upto 10x is fine but as soon as the zoom is increased to 10x & beyond & Super Telephoto Camera kicks in then the camera goes out of focus immediately.

Don't know if this is relevant or not but shaking the device lightly & then using 10x Super Telephoto Camera fixes this issue.

I'm having the same issue. All other cameras are perfect, but the second I switch to 10x, it goes blurry. Tapping to focus doesn't work. Really hoping it's not a hardware issue.

The blur you are talking about also appears in day time pictures?

Get it checked brother. I just checked mine with the same pictures I took when I unboxed the phone almost a month ago. I even think the quality of shots is improved after these updates. No blur or noise found alteat till 30x

I have been using S22 Ultra camera , One of my favorite. It has become a go to camera for family pics.

I happen to notice past few weeks that 10X zoom is completely blurry ( Day/Night any time ). I covered the lenses to confirm it is 10X . I am confident that this is a HARDWARE ISSUE!!!

Now i know that SAMSUNG WILL & SHOULD FIX this ! BUT BUT my problems are few.

1.This is my only phone and they will ask me to send it to the service so i will have no phone till then.

2.These days our phones are computers so we all know how much time we spend setting up the phone , data , etc. Now i have to spend the same time all over. Man that is horrible.

So what can SAMSUNG DO to help me ! i don't know only they can say!

Now for those doing a hard reset , DO NOT DO THAT . IT IS A HARDWARE ISSUE!

I have the same problem with the 10x lens on my S22 Ultra.

I've factory reset the phone, which hasn't fixed the problem, I've tried the beta which didn't fix it either. I even plugged it into the PC and did a full factory recovery through the smart switch program and still nothing.

The default camera app, and also the expert raw app have exactly the same problem.

With the phone held in landscape orientation, and I switch to the 10x lens the image is way out of focus and the image is unrecognizable.

Sometimes it works, sometimes after  10 secs it gets focus. Sometimes a small sharp tap to the phone causes the camera to snap into focus.

If I hold the phone in portrait, 9 times out of ten, the issue is gone.

Has anyone had this issue fixed, and how did you do it?

Many thanks.
