1. Restart your device.
2. If a screen protector or third-party accessory is installed, the touch screen may not function properly. In particular, it may not work well if there is dust or air under the protector, or if there are two or more protectors attached to the screen.
3. If your charger is damaged, it may not supply power to your device, which may cause the touch screen to malfunction. In this case, use a different, undamaged charger to prevent this issue from occurring. It is also a good idea to avoid using the touch screen while charging the device.
4. When using the full screen gesture function, touch input may not be possible because touch is recognized as a gesture. To prevent this from happening, disable the full screen gesture function. Open Settings, tap Display, and then tap Navigation bar. Press the buttons to disable full screen gestures.
5. Disable touch sensitivity.
6. Check for software updates.

None of those solutions work! The latest update has caused this. My phone's touch controls were working fine until I installed the 6.1 update, then it completely stopped working. Rumour has it, Samsung have basically semi- bricked the phones of everyone who had the cheek to have their phone screens repaired at a phone shop or bought a refurbished one.

Same here. I've tried all of the "support" solutions; still nothing. I just bought the phone in March.

I knew it. This is due to cheap quality display. If you change your display from any local shop, then one ui 6.1 will freeze your display

i went to samsung official repair center i changed my screen now its working properly

Hi! My name is Damian Ramos, Im looking for the same problem. Happen when a S21 Ultra with changed display (Not a original one) is updated, the touch don't work
The best I find is flashing with Odin the next firmware G998U1UESAFXAB, and the touch start to work
But this firmware is bit A, im lookin for solution on bit B. I hope this comment help you.

This often happens when you replace your display with a local repair center. The cheap quality display does not support AI circle to search feature, so the whole touch is crashing.

You can try 1 on these 2 solutions:

1. Try replacing your display with the official samsung store. i know it costs much more money to change the display.

2. Flash OneUI 6.0 through ODIN software through windows.
You can always download old firmware through the SamMobile Website.
But be careful, Check your model number and your carrier and match from SamMobile, then only download the firmware.
Download the ODIN app and extract your Zip file, which you downloaded(Firmware).

Then insde Odin. Place all your files on the correct slots.
Restart your phone on Download mode.
connect through USB. when it detects your phone, try flashing your firmware.
You can find many videos on "How to download firmware and install through odin"

Not all models can be downgraded, if that is still possible. Because it is only possible to install a firmware from the same binary, One Ui 6.1/ Android 14 is in binary B, I've already tried and I can't downgrade to One Ui 6.0/ Android 13 because the Android 13 binary is A not B

Yo también lo he probado y de los firmware que existen ninguno lo resolvió no hay otra forma un tercero que cambiar la pantalla o el software
