Is anyone else facing the same overheating issue after the recent update?
The phone used to overheat before the update as well but after the update it's unbearable.

If you are from india and your ambient temperature is above 37 c, Then it will heat up quickly.

It's overheating while performing normal tasks at room temperature(20°-25°C)

How much temperature its gaining? If its with 43 c while performing task thats completely ok. This is SD 888 and its known to heatup quickly so while recording in 4k 60fps, it can reach 47 or 48 c. Best you can do is use it in power saving mode, it limits the Cpu load at 70%, it might help. Other then that if it heats then I suggest go to service center.

My phone heats up too but I guess SD 888 consumes 10w of energy so it will throw away some heat and eatup the battery too.
