S21 FE 5G Refresh Rate Bug

Hi, my S21 FE 5G (Exynos) seems to have a refresh rate bug. There are times when the refresh rate will drop way below 60Hz, causing huge lag and stutters in the animation across the entire UI. Usually, I have to restart the phone for it to be smooth again. However, after some time, the refresh rate will plummet again. I honestly do not know if this is software or hardware related. The phone is updated to the latest version and it also occurs even if all recent apps are cleared. 

Does anyone else who owns a S21 FE 5G (Exynos) facing a similar issue?

Same issue here. Had the 21FE since launch. Great phone but this issue is annoying at times.

I have the Exynos 2100 version here in South Africa.

Anybody able to confirm this same issue on the Snapdragon versions?

I've got the same problem. Only purchased the device 2 weeks ago, already regretting it. Battery life is terrible - do you experience this too? 

Refresh rate drops so low it makes the phone unusable and to compound all that when it is working it gets so hot it's uncomfortable to hold. 

Seems like a whole heap of money wasted to me.

I bought this phone three days ago
But I noticed slowness sometimes
I installed the "Display FPS" software and saw that it 30 FPS
Please fix this bug
After locking the screen, it returns to 120FPS !!!

have the same issue with my S21FE

Just turn off Always On Display.

And issue resolved till samsung resolves it

Same issue still hasn't been resolved in 2022 Feb security patch, Samsung please look into this ASAP, this issue is troubling the s21FE owner since they unbox it. Turning off AOD or changing the motion rate every time when the issue arrives is a desperate solution tbh.

One UI 4.1 just released for me today. It's been 4 hours now I did the update, the bug didn't happen once. The problem seems solved (Before I had the problem several times per hour). 

Can someone confirm that ?

Yes, even I'm facing the same issue for a few days, If anyone found any solution please let us s21fe users know. I think its to do with some software optimization.
