I am facing issue with FingerPrint on S20FE. I have already reported this as error report and spoke to SC and they asked to submit device. 
Just wanted to check if anyone else also facing same issue?

The FingerPrint stops working and gives this message. I m not using any screen protector.

Turn off biometrics lock once and use pin or pattern for sometime..and delete all previous fingerprints..

After this perform normal phone reset settings once

go to settings>general management>select reset>click on reset settings

now add new fingerprint,try with index finger once..

just give a try(can't say if it will help or not)

if still problem persists, go for factory reset

Already tried deleting and readding FP's and did factory reset. I wonder this might be a hardware issue..

Most of the S20 FE devices have same issues..
I have registered same fingerprint 3 times
However no luck
Deleted many times and reconfigure it
Still not working perfectly

It also have Battery backup issue
Ghost touches issue

And still no update to fix these issue
No December update

Fan Edition is a hype or we can say it's a trap
