Galaxy SLast week, I have noticed my screen started to flicker and while playing games, my app just closed or worse it will just restart. During the weekend, upon reaching home, my screen just turned white and green, I can't use it anymore. The phone wasn't dropped nor got wet.
Does anyone experience the same, esp here in UAE? I read that the reason why it's happening because of some bug from software update, and the most affected are the S20 Ultra 5G users.
Note: I went to the service centre, and they told me that the changing the screen will cost 1,055 aed and they didn't give me a valid reason why it happened. Among the screen replacement costs, the most expensive is S20 Ultra, and without warranty too. If this happened again, I guess I have to pay for another screen replacement.
It's just disappointing that this issue is happening because I am a Samsung user ever since, started from Galaxy SII and Galaxy Note 1. I was even the one who convinced my entire family to switch from Apple to Samsung. I guess hearing this issue and based on my experience from the service centre, time to do the switch 😂🙈

Galaxy S1. Try resetting your phone to see if it resolves the problem. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory Data Reset.
2. If the issue persists, contact Samsung customer support for help.
3. If the service center you visited didn't provide a clear reason for the issue, consider getting a second opinion from another technician or contacting Samsung customer support for more guidance.
I know it can be frustrating to pay for a screen replacement if you're unsure what caused the problem.
