Hey there,

Ever since the June update, I've been having problems using my Jio SIM on my phone. It automatically disconnects and doesn't have data sometimes, and also doesn't let me call.

To fix this, I have tried the hard reset, restarting and resting all network settings, none of them work.

The only option I'm left with is to physically remove and insert the SIM. But it disconnects again after a while.

Is anyone facing the same issue? And do you have any solution to this? Also do you think this is a SIM problem or the problem of the Phone?

Thanks.

Yes i do have an secondary sim & that too is jio. But i would say, lately i noticed that, after i got jio welcome offer in my primary sim, now my secondary sim even that's on 4G network is getting unregistered sometimes from network. This is super weird...🤧

Maybe it's just a problem with Jio. I am thinking to port to a different SIM if this is a Jio-only problem.

Also you were saying that you've to remove & re insert your sim to get network back in your phone? I would suggest to check your sim's condition once. If it has scratches in the metal connector part, then i would suggest you to replace your sim with the same number you currently have now. Actually my sim was also too old & got so much of scratches & bcoz of that the device was unable to detect my sim many times. Sometimes my device showed a pop up that no sim card in device...
After i removed & re inserted the sim, my sim again got detected. After i replaced my sim, i never faced this issue again...

No, I don't think the SIM I use has any problem physically. Also can you please clarify on what is VoNR? Thanks a lot for the help. I'll maybe keep an Airtel SIM card just for emergency and use Jio primarily. I have and always will be using Jio, it's been my favourite SIM provider till date, but can't believe it's been so bad this time :(

I don't know where the issue is. I went to the service center and got the motherboard replaced on their recommendation, still have the issue :(

Looks like I'll have to make the shift I've been dreading since the iPhone X, still want to give Samsung a chance since it's been since my childhood but this is just unacceptable if its a Samsung issue.
