Hey there,

Ever since the June update, I've been having problems using my Jio SIM on my phone. It automatically disconnects and doesn't have data sometimes, and also doesn't let me call.

To fix this, I have tried the hard reset, restarting and resting all network settings, none of them work.

The only option I'm left with is to physically remove and insert the SIM. But it disconnects again after a while.

Is anyone facing the same issue? And do you have any solution to this? Also do you think this is a SIM problem or the problem of the Phone?

Thanks.

Hi. I have heen using the sake settings since I bought the phone. The only difference is I updated my phone on June 21st and got the 5G on the same day, but other than that there have been no changes in settings.

Any suggestions?

Common causes of SIM card errors include incorrect network settings, insufficient storage, and incompatible devices. Incorrect network settings can be caused by a variety of issues, such as outdated or unsupported phone software

Otherwise sometimes, the problem occurs when the sim card is damaged or there’s some network issue in your area. Try other sim card and try again .

I tried this same SIM card in an A51 just to make sure it wasn't the problem of the SIM. Worked flawlessly there. I have reinserted my SIM back to the S20 FE, touchwood it's working fine till now. But I hope this isn't an issue of the update :(

Bro facing the same issue since 2 to 3 months and I am facing this only in my jio Sim card. The rest are working fine tried changing network settings, tried changing Sim card slot didn't work. So still facing the same and for me I don't need to remove the Sim just restart your phone it will start working again.

Has the problem reduced now? Does it work long periods without restarting? As mentioned in the OP, I have tried the restart method but it's not working for me :(

Did you try taking your phone to the service center? I'm wondering if I have to go to jio, or samsung.....

No bro it's not resolved it's still there and I assumed it's a issue from my Sim not the phone since my Airtel works properly without any issue on both the slots and no I haven't spoken to any customer care
