Galaxy SI bought my mobile on October 3, 2022. I did a security update on my mobile on October 3, 2025. Suddenly, the white line appeared on October 8th.
When I went to the Samsung Care Service Center on October 9th and asked about it, they told me that since it's been more than 3 years since I bought it, they can only do a paid screen replacement for my mobile and cannot do it for free.
I asked them, 'I didn't cause any problem, did I? This happened only after you provided the security update. I didn't drop it in water either. Since this is your company's problem, shouldn't you cover the claim?'
To that, they replied that because it's been 3 years, they cannot do anything for free, and I would have to pay for the repair.
Can I file a consumer complaint about this?"
