Hi,
Since i got my new S23 Ultra in Jan 2025,Im having issues connecting my device to wired Android Auto in my Skoda Slavia. Im using official samsung C-C cable, Android Auto and OS is up to date. All other phones easily work in my car except mine.

Edit : I got an update from Skoda for Software Version 1800, which resolved the problem

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Please check for any updates of related applications (Google) with Android Auto.

The initial connection setting can only be used when the car is parked, this is the concept of Google Android Auto for safety.

After the initial connection, you can use Android Auto while driving.

If the connection is not established properly via Bluetooth you may face issues while using Android Auto.

As Android Auto can be connected via USB cable as well and the connection method may differ by car and its manufacturer, it’s necessary to confirm the proper connection method for your car with a car manufacturer.

The USB cables approved by Samsung are compatible with Android Auto.

However, all USB cables may not be compatible when a car, even if it’s approved by Samsung.

Additionally, we recommend using a shorter USB cable than 1m.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
