a serious quality issue of Samsung s20 plus. Samsung yet to acknowledge this issue.

be aware of the water-resistant rating on your phone

the adhesive comes off its own, without any external force and making the lens fogged.

even the camera glass glue is coming off which is ridiculous.

think twice before using your phone in the rain

I've been facing the same issue and i know the real problem. Normally people who use UV glass screen protector will have this issue where the screen protector glue fall and slip into the gap of the cover and ruin the original glue. This is the problem when the phone are curve display and only way to have glass protector is by using UV Tempered glass. I've been facing this issue since using Note 8. So be aware.

the twisted glue come from the UV glue. To see the effect of UV glue may take up to a month until u see its harden and make a gap on the back cover larger.

I'm also facing this same issue everything is fine with the phone (I mean the internal parts) but the glue which was holding it started to get loos not it's coming off. I contacted Samsung service center but no use. They won't accept that it's a Quality issue and they ask to change the adhesive for 950 rs.
The worst service is Samsung service.

I came here right after my s20+ back case showed a slight gap and glue melted off. Nowadays most of me and my relatives samsung phones comes with multiple quality issues like this. Everything works for a year. It started shows its real face exactly after warranty period is over.!! Like heating problem, restart issue, display vertical lines etc..

Same thing happened to me. Samsung replied that they don't cover physical damage to their phones (my entire back came unglued). I tried to explain that it wasn't from a drop and I've had it in a Samsung case the whole time. One day I removed the case and phone back came with it. The fact that the glass came off and the paint was peeling was clearly a manufacturing issue - I didn't do anything to it. They said they don't cover back glass under warranty and they don't have a way to do the repair under warranty because it's not a part available to select in their warranty service. Even though it's a manufacturing defect, their stance (after 5 attempts)  was that even if it was a defect, it didn't matter, it was physical damage and they wouldn't cover it. Seems illegal.

I was horrified and disgusted to see this issue with my S20 this morning. I doubt it is still under warranty. I don't know what to do.

Super disappointed to also have the same issue with my S20+ despite having it in a phone case all along. Brought it to the service centre also to fix a vertical green line on the screen + faulty power up & volume up buttons. The service centre quoted almost SGD 900 to fix this problem that wasn't even due to my misuse. Super ridiculous if I'm paying such a high price for premium end phone. Think I'm done with Samsung.

I faced the same problem. As soon as my phone was out of warranty, the back cover came off. I was horrified by the Samsung flagship phone. How can a phone that cost 1000 euros survive for just two years? I will try to fix this problem at the phone service, but when I choose my next phone, I will think carefully about whether it is worth buying a samsung phone.

I faced the same problem with my s20+ and its hardly 1.5 years of use without having any drop. Back panel of the phone got peeled off on its own and USB connector also having issues. Only normal charge is supporting and unable to connect to USB for data transfer. Seems like fault in the USB connector also. It's really disappointing to see all these issues coming in a short span to time. Its hard 'NO' for Samsung next time.
