Project Treble

Since Samsung recently put out a notice talking about how they've taken in suggestions by the community and have implemented them or plan to.

I think it would be a great idea for all of us to strongly suggest that Samsung updates the S8 and the note 8 and implements project Treble.

Currently project Treble has not been implemented in the latest beta which is very disheartening.

Ain't the project treble for devices which come out of the box as oreo

Google forces oems to make sure that anyone shipping with oreo will have this feature and phones upgrading from 7 don't need to include treble but they can.

The pixel line is getting project Treble as far as I know and lots of oems are just circumventing the project Treble thing by launching with android 7 and then updating to android 8

project treble needed separate setup from hardware to software this is not implemented yet expect for pixel devices

Not really and it mostly depends on the manufacturer.

Samsung has also not made any official statement as of now so we might actually still be getting treble and just not know it
