The S8 getting android 10 is only going to drive the sales of the s10 and note 10 among the enthusiast community since people will realize Samsung is doing 3 years of OS updates instead of 1.So I hope that the S8 eventually ends up getting android 10...

Not really and it mostly depends on the manufacturer.Samsung has also not made any official statement as of now so we might actually still be getting treble and just not know it
