Using the Galaxy S24 Ultra, I noticed that even when taking photos at different resolutions, still when checking the details of those photos in the gallery, it shows 12MP.
Hints?

You have to manually select 50mp .

What I meant is that even when taking photos with 200MP or 50 MP selected, still it shows in the derails of that photo, in the gallery, as 12MP.

Update Software: Ensure that your device's software is up to date. Check for any available software updates by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Installing the latest updates may address any software-related issues.

Clear Gallery App Cache: Clearing the cache of the gallery app may help resolve any temporary glitches. Go to Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage, then select "Clear cache."

Reset Camera App: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the camera app to its default settings. Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage, then select "Clear data" or "Reset app." Note that this action will reset the camera app settings to their factory defaults.

To elaborate more on my previous post. When taking shots using 200MP, 1X, it shows 200MP in the details, but when using higher zoom also in 200MP, then the details show 12MP and the file size becomes around 2MB, same while using 50MP. I checked the same on my S23 Ultra, even with the zoom, it still shows 200MP & 50MP and the file size is around 9MB. So whoever is using S24 ultra, could you please zoom in and check the details. Clearing cache and data of the camera didn't help.
