Guess will have to wait for the next update to fix this and ruin something else

Check if you downloaded any recent app. This happens when os is new but installed apps are not compatible. Give it a try by uninstalling unused apps. Keep us posted.

It sounds frustrating to experience issues like phone heating and black bars on the screen, especially after an update. Here’s what you can do to address these problems:

- Restart Your Phone: Restarting can often resolve temporary glitches that occur after an update.

- Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check for any new updates.

- Clear Camera App Cache and Data:
Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage.
Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data. Note that clearing data will reset camera settings.
Check for App Updates: Ensure all your apps, especially the camera and gallery apps, are up to date.

- Go to Settings > Apps > tap the three-dot menu (⋮) > Reset app preferences. This will reset app preferences but won't delete app data.
Check for Overheating Causes:

- Ensure that no background apps are using excessive resources. Go to Settings > Device Care > Battery to check battery usage and see if any apps are consuming more power than usual.
Avoid using your phone while it’s charging or in high-temperature environments.

If the problem persists and you've tried everything else, you might consider a factory reset. Back up your important data first.
Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.
