After one ui 7 on my S24 Plus i expected the security patch would fix my battery draining issue but the may security patch disappointed my experience more than the official one ui 7.
It's draining more and heating up the device even after clearing cache.
I just watched a youtube video on 480p and it's just 8 minutes it drained 8% and heated up the device.
And the animations are jittery and aren't smooth as the previous S24 plus.

#Oneui7 is indeed a big disappointment for many -- especially in Battery and RAM department! 🙏😔

there's no option but to use the phone in power saving mode all the time - and that only works in case of light to moderate usage. samsung always lacked in decent battery backup and fast charging, now it's going one step down with this UI upgrade..

Seriously we didn't pay for this compromise 🤷‍♂️ and it could be next step of customers to drop samsung if it continues this way

Maybe wait for some days, and see the battery performance might improve, same happen with my s24 plus when i updated it to one ui 7, earlier this month, now it's been improved and I'm getting around 7 hrs SOT

Except reset I've did everything and following it till today...
I'm just sitting and hoping for next patch or major to fix this issue.

first and foremost we didn't pay this big amount on flagship device to expect issues over OTA and to perform a reset...🤷‍♂️ risking our data.
Samsung is literally the amazing device which anybody can use but It's too disappointing when it's about bugs , battery drain and heating after a particular update.
We wish Samsung keeps up it's reputation as good as before.

Let's look forward to no such major problems
