Strange, My experience is completely opposite, I have noticed slightly better battery Backup and less heating after 8.5 update.

M56 would be 1st Device to get one ui 8.5. It would receive in 2nd week of June

What is the excitement for. There is literally no concrete change in UI at all, you'll be disappointed for sure.
