My S22+ recently developed the dreaded 'green line' issue on the screen. I read in several online forums and posts that Samsung was offering a one-time free screen replacement for devices purchased within the last three years, which gave me some hope. However, when I contacted customer care, the executives I spoke with completely denied any such policy. They insisted that even recent flagships wouldn't qualify for a free one time free screen replacement if their one-year warranty had expired, and told me I'd have to visit a service center. The problem is, the nearest service center is about 120 kilometers from where I live right now, which is significant inconvenience. All I want to know is about that one time replacement policy, wheather It is true or not so that I can pay a visit to the service center.
