Hello all,
I have a s22. Recently I got a green line appearing in my phone after a software update. I checked the samsung official online care. I got this message below from Samsung's official chat on free replacement for this issue. I went to a service center in indira nagar bangalore. Service center just looked at the phone and rejected free replacement pointing at white patches (paint came off) in the side of the aluminum frame caused by my plastic case as a physical damage and also pointing out that my phone is out of warranty. He wrote in the Acknowledgement sheet as dents on the rear of the phone where there is no scratch at all. If I ask, he is telling the rear and side are the same for him in a rude way.
I never thought I would get such unfair treatment from Samsung. I've been using samsung phones ever since i started using smartphones. I escalated the case. It's been more than 40 hrs but now response yet. I adore Samsung products but this service center experience makes me sad and frustrated.

Which application form ur mentioning? If its customercare u need to reach on helpline or they have a chat service... I wil assure u that both are useless.

Dear samsung customer care or samsung officials if you stick to samsungs good quality and good service, can anyone please confirm why the issue of green line appears and even knowing it's due to samsungs faulty software or the any bug which I assume now is been created purposefully after 1 year warranty and software update why do u people dont agree take actions on ur fault... why do we customers have to suffer for ur faulty or low quality products which we bought for high price...please confirm on what basis are u not giving replacement for s22 display for green line issue which occurred after software update?? If samsung stick to their policy and value customers take actions on ur fault and give free display replacement for all people having the issue or take back ur phone and give back us our money ... a 10k local phone is better than yours..

Guys please don't waste ur time calling Samsung customer care . They wil treat badly and say no free screen replacement and also won't admit samsungs faulty software issue. Instead they are asking and persuading to pay for the display replacement saying it's a electronic device so these things will happen .. please check the below message from a customer who had faced similar issue..
I had this problem with my M52 last year due the software update of security patch level August 1, and I'm getting the screen of my m52 replaced for free. It's currently in the service center for repair. This post will definitely help you:

Just make sure that you visit the service center and get a job sheet number for your device regarding this issue. After that, download National Consumer Helpline app from play store and create a grievance. After submitting the grievance, you will receive a call from Samsung within the next day or two days after you've submitted your grievance. Do all of these within 30 days after you generate a job sheet number since the job sheet number is available for 30 days only and you'll have to get a new one if things are not done on time.

Also reach raise our bad experience in linkedin, twitter and tag samsung . I had faced really bad experience from samsung customer care when i called for geeen line issue in myS22 .. there is a bunch of lady goons in the cusromer care in chennai or somwhere in Tamil nadu.. these ladies claiming to be supervisors and higher officials , spea very rudely and arrogantly.. They keep saying as per samsung policy u should pay for display as there is no proof that its because of samsung update the issue has occured. As its an electronic device such thungs happe and u need to deal with it.. recently a lady called Hema spoke to me... i dont understand is this the way samsung train their empliyees to speak to customers... or are they hiring goons itself so to handle customers facing the issue of green line due to their faulty software , which they dont admit and want customers spend money again for screen replacemen... I and my family members or friends is never going with samsung phones from now on .... keep going with ur money making policy
