The Samsung S22 Ultra Display has the issue noticed by many users. this came to know when I had the similar issue noticed in my handset.

I am usually very scaecely used and kept in good condition. No scratch whatsoever in the set. but while using the handset suddenly the bright spot appeared in the display. als if we closely looks it, we can see that the bright spot extends towards the left part of the display in a scattered manner. ifwe keep the handset in a darker place we can notice the light scattering easily. I really got annoyed after spending so much of money, such issues really put me in sad. then after browsing Samsung community support forum, I found that, I am not alone. many of the users are having the same exact issue what I am enduring now. I tried to resolve the issue by my own did the below points

1) went into Safe mode for any faullty application. ( negative)

2) did a factory reset. (negative no improvement).

then tried to change someof the badic setting which affects the display. activated the power savwer mode. instantaneously the bright patch dissappeared. the sceen become crispy and clean. but whenevet try to wake the screen by pressing the power button, I got a brief appearance of the bright patch over the left taks bar for second and immediately it dissappeared.

also I tried to disable the power saver mode and reduced the refresh rate from 120 hertz to 60 hertz. then too the bright patch dissappeared. the sceen become crispy and clean. but whenevet try to wake the screen by pressing the power button, I got a brief appearance of the bright patch over the left taks bar for second and immediately it dissappeared.

so my findigs are like even if the display is externally damged how it is possible that the display become normal if by enabling power savwer mode or reducing the refresh rate to 60???.

Seriously Samsung requires a deeper analysis and save their trusitng users from the perils.

spending so much of money to have such pain will definitely put us to think twice before opting for such poorly built Samsung Flagship devices. Hope samsung is listening.

Hi

I am also facing the same issue. I came to know that many users faced similar issues.
Please resolve the problem through software updates .
It's your responsibility as it occurred after the software update

Hi, I am facing the exact same issue, screen has become green and flashing white screen continuously after the update. Visited the service centre but they are not even checking the device. It is very much disappointing that after spending so much amount you are not getting good service.

The same issue is with me. Not any single damage has been done to my phone, but suddenly, the display went like this. Is there any way to resolve this problem? Can anyone help? 1727886008646.jpg

I sent a DM to @SamsungIndia yesterday and I got a reply that I should expect a communication(?) from Samsung by mail or on my mobile.

Meanwhile I called Samsung Authorized Service Center where I frequently go and I am not sure whether the person at the other end had even listened/understood my issue but curtly replied - "Display has to be changed, will cost about 20K" in local language.

As some people have suggested in the community, Samsung will not accept the technical issue but will up the sales of spares (in this case, display along with the frame). I may not buy another Samsung product anymore.

They won't accept at all ever my handset is in service centre from past a month and now literally after trying for a month they aren't replacing the screen and not even giving me valid reason in written for display issue which was because of their **bleep** update. They are just saying your mobile is out of warranty it will be chargeable whereas the policy of display replacement is mobile under 3 years

I am experiencing the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. When I visited the Samsung Service Centre, I was informed that the free screen replacement program had ended on 30th September 2024. However, the issue on my device only appeared on 3rd October 2024. This situation is not my fault, as the problem occurred after the program had already ended. Samsung should consider extending the bug-fixing program to maintain customer trust. Otherwise, we may lose confidence in Samsung products and reconsider purchasing them in the future.

All of a sudden the display went totall white in colour and i was not able to use it at all and when i raised a complaint to samsung higher authority team i was told that your phone is out of warranty so we cant replace it free of cost it will charge 30k as if it happened because of my careless ness it was all because of a **bleep** update i said and in return they told that it was your problem we didnt told you to update your phone when it is out of warranty!! **bleep** worst experince i faced after being a samsung customer from past more than decade... the service and response i got from them had forced me to move from samsung to other product.. i regret being a samsung member

Samsung s22 ultra has serious display issue. They replaced display in service centre again the display problem surfaced after 11 month. The service centre technician are asking me to change the display. I have horrible experience. I won't recommend high end samsung phone to others
