Quick access Labels.

Anyone any idea how to add labels in the quick panel? I hate how empty it looks. Also, is there a way to drop down control panel instead of notification panel when sliding the finger down anywhere on the screen?

Sliding down only bring notification panel, but atleast we can swipe right to go to control panel from the notification panel
