If you're using In-display fingerprint scanner then Eye Comfort shield will not work on lock screen.

Then it's better to have side key fingerprint scanner.

Physical scanners are always faster and more accurate then in display ones

You're able to have the fingerprint sensor work on a pure black Always On display, but not a screen with a yellow filter over it?

Can't you just isolate the one spot where the sensor is to not be affected by the Eye Comfort Shield?

Samsung could've just gone with regular fingerprint sensor and should've added metal frame instead. :(

Yes. This is quite painful during night times. A sudden bright blue light flashes on the eyes causing severe discomfort. Earlier  I did not face this issue with Note 10 lite. But with S20 FE, this is causing quite a pain.

S8+ got the best fingerprint scanner placed beside the secondary camera. Wish that was continued in all the fingerprint scanner phones from Samsung.

Or else they can only the scanner area to have eye comfort shield disabled.

Hope someone from Samsung can take this feedback seriously.

Update: The issue is only with optical fingerprint sensors ..not with ultrasonic sensor of higher end models..
