I have Widevine L3 on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. I suspect this happened after installing the recent May '23 security update. This is ridiculous, because of Widevine L3 I can't watch videos in HD on a flagship device.
Please fix this issue.

Edit:
HarshaTumu suggested to install the latest Google Play system update so I did that and it worked. My S23+ now has Widevine L1 certification.

How to check Google Play system update?
Open Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Updates -> Google Play system update

Download DRM Info app from Play Store to be sure about what Widevine version you have. If DRM Info app shows Widevine L3 then follow the following steps.
Open Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Updates -> Google Play system update and then download the latest update and restart phone.

After installing the latest update open the DRM Info and check the Widevine version, it should show L1.
After this uninstall and install Netflix again and even Netflix will should Widevine L1 certification.
