Disappointing Response to S22 series Display Issue - No Free Replacement for Green Line Defect

Hello Samsung Community,

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding a persistent issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung's response to it.

Issue:

  • Model: Samsung Galaxy S22
  • Problem: Green and pink lines on the display after a recent software update (6.1)

Despite Samsung acknowledging this defect and extending a free screen replacement program, this extension is limited only to the S22 Ultra model. According to a Samsung representative, this decision was made because "not all S22 series customers are facing this issue."

My Concerns:

  • This issue is affecting my S22, and likely other S22 series devices as well.
  • The decision to exclude the S22 base model from the free replacement program feels arbitrary and unfair.
  • It is disappointing to see Samsung not taking responsibility for a known defect that affects multiple models in the S22 series.

I am sharing my experience here to raise awareness and to see if other S22 series users are facing similar issues. Samsung needs to acknowledge and address these defects across all models, not just the Ultra variant. If you have experienced the same problem, please share your story.

Samsung, I urge you to reconsider your stance and extend the free screen replacement program to include all affected S22 models.

Please visit service center and get a job sheet filed for the complaint verifying no physical damage. Then email samsung service head/ceo email with the job number and issue. They will reach out to you. I got the screen replaced on my s22 plus device, with 95% discount from Samsung since it was out of warranty. Hope this helps.

Hi, Can you please share your Job ID. Even my S22+ having the line issue and i spoke to care for replacement and they ask me to show one case id which samsung replaced for free. so that they consider my request. it will be helpful if you will help me with your job id.

Same here veryyy very disappointing of samsung... been using samsung its s4..now they don't even recognise this issue... very disappointing
