Hello everyone,

I have a Samsung S24 Ultra that supports 45W charging. I purchased the 45W charger and used it for seven months, but unfortunately, it got damaged.

I am considering purchasing a new charger and would like to know if it is safe to use a 45W charger from a different brand or if I should stick with the Samsung 25W charger. The Samsung 45W charger is significantly more expensive, so I am hesitant to purchase it again.

Is there any significant difference in charging speed between the 45W and 25W chargers? Or does it cause any problem in the long run if I charge with 25w

Thank you for your advice.

Today's global warming situation.. buy a 25 watt charger.. good for battery life.

But don't trust online shopping...
Purchase original from samsung Shop with Bill and warranty card.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We would like to inform you that we recommend using a genuine Samsung charger and charging cable with your Samsung device. However, you can also use either a 45 watt or 25 watt adapter for charging your device.

There is no major difference between the two the 45W adapter charges your device a few minutes faster than the 25 watt.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

I recently purchased a 25W charger, but I have not noticed a significant difference in charging speed compared to my previous charger. However, I have observed that it takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge my device using the 25W charger, which is considerably longer than the charging time with my previous charger. I would like to understand the actual difference between these chargers and the reasons behind the observed charging time discrepancy.
