Last night I was charging my phone, suddenly it stopped charging. I thought there was some issue with my phone, but when I charged my phone using my fathers charger it was working fine.

I then looked at my charger, there was a slight burnt smell, but my charging cable was damaged. There was a bluish fluid inside the cable port.

To crosscheck, i used another type C cable with my charger and tried charging my phone, the brick was fine.

I understood the problem is with my cable, but I am not sure if my charger brick is alright as it has a slight burnt smell coming out.
I purchased the brick, back in 2021.

Please let me know, what to do. Should I go for a new brick? Or continue using my old one, with a new charging cable?

If it charges with another type C cable, then your brick is fine.
Just grab a new cable.
