Galaxy Note
Hello everyone,
I have both, note 8 and note 9.
Is everyone facing display issues after the latest security patch update?
Should we do it through desktop/laptop instead of downloading it directly through WiFi?
If updating to latest security patch is not advisable then how to get rid of that notification?
Thanks,
Sanjay

but not most of the customers dont know to update it via smart switch or odin unless an issue arises...its like everytime an update comes u need to have a pc with u to update ur phone...even I came here after getting the issue...so it seems we should update ur phone through smart switch right from purchasing it

yes you are right bro.... see i am not saying that update software via mobile data or wifi destroyed most of note9 devices...but practically what happened 👉 after 2.0 there were total 23 vulnerability present in software and after 2.1 there were 13 vulnerability and 2 critical issue in samsung own software in s9 ,note9 devices... and by chance if someone installed that via mobile data or wifi and software not installed fully or correctly then that vulnerability over software + damaging side of software created those issues in maximum device... and unfortunately most of all already paid for display because after damage display non of the tricks was helpful... 👍 and it's good news for Android 3.0 eligible device because after 3.0 Google mandate A/B partition type Ota software providation for all devices because issue is coming
