galaxy note 8 sudden green tint issue

Hello guys ive been using note 8 for 2 years now never have i ever dropped it last night i went to sleep the phone was okay in the morning i woke up i was this greenish tint on the phone suddenly i tried restarting my phone and the note 8 logo appeared in white then suddenly a green tint takes over what the **bleep** is wrong?? Samsung plz look into it and provide me with assistance my phone doesn't have any physical damage and from the looks of it i think its software issue plz show me a way to fix it as its my daily driver

when i tap and see always on display its white then it goes suddenly into green if display was the issue then shouldn't it just stay green all the time??

This happened to mine one time. Turning the Adaptive Brightness off and rebooting the phone fixed it. Then turned Adaptive Brightness back on, and the problem has never come back.

You can do the following:

1. Visit the service center & check for their views but do not go with their advice if they said display need to be changed.
2. Try hard reset for the device.
3. You can also downgrade the last update through Odin via any flash link available over the internet..
4. Wait for future updates

also if it is a display issue should it always be green? its white when it bootsup and then suddenly takes a greenish tint

Actually, nobody can answer this whether its a display issue or software error as this is electronic product so anything can happen with it..But instead of going for display replacement with Rs 17k, better first do everything by urself and if nothing works then only go for replacement...And it is no harm to spend Rs 17k for Note 8 display if you don't want to upgrade right now as It has the best display if compare with Note 20 Ultra...I have both the device and Note 8 glass got broken then I replaced it and using within the family 👪...

This happed to me after correction patch of August Security update ... it stayed for 2-3 days and again get back to normal after that .... I think I was lucky ... try your luck brother ....
