Vertical pink line om Samsung Note 20 ultra post july update

I updated my Note 20 ultra 256GB device on July 31st with the july patch. Post the update, my device was seen to be heating up and all of a sudden, i saw a pink vertical line on my screen on August 11, 2024. I called up customer support, they asked me to go service center and get device inspection done. On August 13, i visited HiTech service center in sec 23 Gurugram to get tge device checked. He straight on said that the display cost is this and that i have to get the display changed. I called customer support and made him talk to the CSR. I was instructed by the CSR to get a jobsheet filed whichi did.

As its not my fault and this vertical linehas come post the update, Samsung should get display issue fixed and bear the cost.

This is a common issue i have observed so far. I own s22 ultra and every time i see update, i am scared of doing it because if the line issue on display

Exactly, my phone had no issues and this line appearer like a ghost .lets hope the change the display because they did for the people who got that green line issue in april update

My s22 ultra screen bacame full white after the update. Product has no dents and scratches, but the customer care refused to replace the display free of cost. I tried to make my point clear with Samsung customer care, but they said that, product is out of warranty so I have to pay the full amount. After 10 days of fighting with them, finally I paid the display charge 22k. Such a horrible experience with Samsung. Please don't update to this buggy software. It's a samsung scam.
