After Android 12/one UI4 update working seems good but on 2nd day i plugged for charging at the time battery lever was 8%... I checked after 20 minutes my note 20 ultra got black screen issue, but touch is functioning only black screen issue... I am able to use samsung dex, everythingfunctioning normal apart from display...
I tried force restart multiple times using volume down and power button pressing continuously, it's not helping to fix my phone...
Is any alternate solution avaliable?
Can you please suggest me what is the problem, if anyone faced the same problem can you please tell me how you fixed..

Oops.. This is a display issue with most of the 20 series. You need to visit a service center where they might tell you to replace the display. If you are out of warranty, you will have to escalate the issue to get a resolution.
However if you are lucky enough, it may get fixed automatically, may be with next update.

I had the same issue on my s8 after os update 2 years back, don't charge ur phone, drain the battery & let the phone die with zero % charge, after 20 min charge it . Just try this & always update ur phone with pc not from phone . Comment if it works

Hi bro, everyone keeps telling to update from pc and not from phone. Is there any reason behind it?

Yes,when updating the phone thru over the air, there is a big possibility for the corruption of os files which will lead to unknown error or issues, but wen u update with smartswitch on pc those issues won't happen as this method will download & install whole os. Hence pc method is safe for Samsung phones.

But bro even through ota update, 1st the entire package is downloaded and then the installation starts. Isn't it?

No buddy it only download Part files wen downloading security patchs but the issue is while downloading thru ota some files may miss so its safe to use smartswitch. To be frank I use to update thru ota wen I had s8 & It caused me many issues like battery drain, signal issues for 4 months & I went to service center to clear the issue, all they did is flash os & asked me to use pc for update. After using smartswitch for update I had no issues until now, currently I own a note 10 plus.

Thanks a lot brother. Just one last question... Do you use Smartswitch only for major Android updates or for monthly updates too?

Every update is done thru smartswitch, ya it consumes more data 🙄 but I get peace of mind 😌, so thats the price I guess 😂.

Here is a lil trick abt smartswitch, when u r downloading update,u can remove the cable from the phone anytime, it will resume wen u reconnect the phone( give it some time to resume) but make sure its not when installing the update in odin mode

(P.S) keep the pc running if u had 2 disconnect the cable.
