I may sound like a broken tape recorder when I ask this: Does anyone have a clue when Note20 Ultra may get support for Jio 5g?
I have the latest January patch and there was no mention of anything for 5g.

If anyone from Samsung is reading this, please don't share any link or steps to check network settings. It's honestly very frustrating now that a 1.06 lakhs 5G phone I invested in is stuck on 4g, while people with 10k phones are already using 5g.

Please, I just need a word stating Yes or No if we should have hopes for 5g support of Note20 Ultra 5g.

Nevermind, just read posts from other members which tells that Note20 doesn't have SA compatibility.
I guess we all were scammed by their marketing.

I saw one user has posted screenshots with Airtel 5g.
Will switch to it from Jio if that's the case.
Never returning to Samsung again once this device falls apart.

No it doesn't work even after the update. I'm not sure if it is a problem with Jio or Samsung. Anyways we are cheated by the name of 5G.

Yeah, found out that SA 5g which basically means an infra purely built on new 5g core isn't compatible with Note20 Ultra.
However NSA 5G which uses existing 4g core like Airtel 5g should work.

Very clever deceiving marketing done by Samsung, that too they even plastered the name 5g on the phone...

Jio(SA) will never be supported by Indian variant of Note20 Ultra. I recieved an official communication from Samsung CEO desk today. Samsung thinks that Indian customers are fools and their hard earned money is waste. I hope someone in authority looks into this issue and takes Samsung to Court for deceiving Indian customers on buying their so-called 5G phones. The worst part is that the Snapdragon variant does work on the SA network like Jio but only the inferior quality Exynos chipset will not work on the Jio network in India.

Is it samsung fault or ours...Even in their website it says note 20 ultra 5g have n28 and n78
700mhz and 3000mhz which is exactly what jio uses.
We are mad coz of the **bleep** promises.
The Sd865+ model got the SA..which if fine...it got mmwave support too.But that doesn't have to do with anything...we can't expect mmwave any time soon...
The fact that Devices like F23 can get SA with just having upto sub6 why can't Exynos 990.
It's Samsung fault not informing...That's why we demand.

This duality that samsung has shown over the years till now, sending subpar Exynos to Indian market is just disgusting.
It's such a shame if I have to switch my carrier because my phone wouldn't support it.
I hope someone with decent knowledge sues them to kingdom come.

Even I pray for the same that someone who is having some legal knowledge takes Samsung to Court and orders them to either replace the phone with working 5G phones or upgrade for Free for all Note20 Ultra 5G mobile users sold with Exynos chipset.
