Note 9 calling app issue

I have a Galaxy Note 9 and the phone app is acting bit crazy. I'm not able to accept calls when I'm watching something as the phone app freeze. Now the issue has aggregated as I'm finding it difficult to call people as the call app is freezing when i call someone and doesn't respond for 10-20 minutes. This is a very annoying software glitch.

Does anyone face this issue ?

clear all data in call app

Clear call app data and cache

put your phone in luke warm water for 20 mins at a depth of half a meter. After that wipe it nicely. Once done go to the phone app in settings and clear the catch. You would wonder why the luke warm water. Thats to get rid of all dust in your type C socket.
