Hello just bought a Samsung j6 64gb and it came out of the with android 9 pie and I was wondering if it will be updated to android 10???

It may or may not. As of now, the Galaxy S10 series and the Note 10 series will be the first to receive the update. The list of models getting the update after these two is expected to be known after the final stable release of Android 10 on Galaxy 10 and Note 10 series.

There are multiple factors that may be responsible. Since it is Ultrasonic Fingerprint technology, it is slower than optical fingerprint sensing. However, the reliability and security is pretty high.
1. Make sure that the latest update patch is installed.
2. Delete already captured fingerprints and res can your finger prints.
3. Remove screen protector, if any and use a branded screen protector like Ringke Screen Protector.
I have a S10 Plus and a Note 10 Plus in the family. Fingerprint works flawlessly and fine. Incase the above steps do not solve problem, then it is most likely a hardware problem and the phone should be taken to Samsung Service Centre for the same.

PS: I doubt that updating to Android 10 Beta will fix the issue. On the contrary, since Android 10 is in Beta testing stage, the chances of malfunctioning is much higher than the stable Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Good work bro....... But I have one question that buffers me, how can the Samsung j6 64gb comes with android 9 pie already installed with Samsung one UI and the manufacturing box shows the phone was made in May 2019?? How come?
