Is anyone facing this issue of contact indexing? I am unable to search for specific contacts. It's been more than 2 months, sent error log 3 times with screenshots and video. However, the tech support keep asking to resend the error log again & again. They're hopeless!

Anybody has a solution to this?? Thank you

Always keep your contacts in google gmail. You can sync it on any device anywhere. If you have all your contacts in Google then delete and sync back when you add your Gmail account.

There is a system app namely "Samsung Core Services". If it's disabled enable it and try cleaning the data.
It resolved the same issue on my phone.Screenshot_20210722-173929_Settings.jpg

Hi All,

I'm a Galaxy Note 9 user and even i have faced this same issue again and again. Simple fix to the problem is that , there is no Samsung Core service in Note 9 instead it's a bixby app.
Instead of that , open the Contacts Application from Settings -> Contacts
Under storage, clear cache and storage for this app and this issue will be resolved.

Regards,
